There are many reasons why Davao City should be at the top of your list of must-visit cities in the Philippines.
Among its numerous awards and citations? There's the Top 20 Most Livable Cities in Asia, one of the Cleanest and Greenest Highly-Urbanised City, Most Child Friendly City in the Philippines, Most Competitive City to Do Business in the Philippines, Best Peace and Order Council in the Philippines and so many others. In 2015, it also ranked as the 9th safest city in the world, and it is also one of only three places in the world, aside from the US and Canada, to have an integrated Emergency Response System 911.
