When asked about Travelogy’s future plans with the new funding, the two co-founders shared that they will be moving into Malaysia in the coming months, and is eyeing the Filipino and Indonesian online travel market. In Indonesia, Travelogy will be competing against players like Wego, a travel metasearch company. Wego recently acquired Valadoo, a social commerce startup focused on curated travel packages for its expansion in Indonesia. Other players also include Tourexplora, which help tourists find travel packages at the best bargains in Indonesia.
