1. Batanes

Are you looking for an out of the country destination for your honeymoon? Why go far when you can go to the "New Zealand of the Philippines"? Batanes will leave you breathless! Plus, if you're planning to have your wedding ceremony in Tukon Chapel, just extend your stay and explore the rest of the province.

2. Sagada, Mountain Province

If you and your hubby or wifey want to start a new life of adventure together, Sagada is the perfect place to go! Enjoy the cool weather, go on a hike on the mountainous terrain, try the pasta and different variants of yogurt at the Yogurt House, and so much more! The real challenge is Sumaguing Cave. Others might say that Boracay is overrated, but it really isn't. Although there have been arguments about the island being overcrowded, it makes a good honeymoon destination for those who want that ultimate beach getaway. I suggest staying a bit longer so you can try the water activities and also have enough time for some peace and quiet in a tucked away resort. Don't forget to eat fresh seafoods at D'Talipapa.

9. Pearl Farm Beach Resort, Davao

Another noteworthy resort for that special honeymoon is Pearl Farm in Davao. Pearl Farm also has beach front rooms, an infinity pool overlooking a beautiful view, and other wellness facilities. The best part for me was the food. I cannot even begin to describe to you how amazing their buffets are.

10. BuDa, Davao

If you are looking for a simple honeymoon try looking into rest houses for rent along the Bukidnon-Davao (BuDa) highway. It's a great alternative to Baguio or Tagaytay where you can experience a cool weather. There are many rest houses like Buda Vista in BuDa. It's definitely worth checking out.
